I know that not every mom will find this product a useful tool kit suggestion. If you an athlete or active in any form, then this would be an investment to make. A foam roller!
Painfully refreshing is how I would describe this tool and the experience. It doesn't take the place of a chiropractor or massasue. If you don't have the time or money to make those visits, then this product can treat those tight muscles quickly. I have found it so useful and necessary for my IT bands. It doesn't take much time to "roll" out those muscles. About 5 minutes for each muscle is all you need. And you could hit all the sore spot in less time then it takes you to watch an episode of "The Walking Dead".

Baseball has begun
Our Saturday afternoons now belong to little league baseball games (and so do our Friday evenings for practice). It's amusing to watch this young kids during the game. Someone are "baseball ready" while others are staring off in space. The fundamentals have not quite started to sink in for a lot of this little guys including Jonah. It will be interesting to see how the rest of the games play out.

If you have something to give, give it now...
We are all busy people. We have families to manage, work to go to, and tons of obligations. I found this video to be inspiring because no matter how small of an act, you can make an impact/impression on someone. I'll be keeping that in mind as I walk through my busy days.

Mom's Tool kit | Item #2
A time and money saver and what mom doesn't love saving both of those!
A co-worker gave me the Lock & Lock Salad Bowl for my birthday last year. I think she was making fun of the fact that I consistently eat salad everyday for lunch at work. Well, it turned out to be the best gift for me. Yes, I love salad. I love eating healthy. But eating healthy takes time and money to accomplish. I usually spend time on Sunday prepping a large salad for the week. My pet peeve has been when the salad begins to wilt on Tuesday and I have to toss it on Wednesday. With the Lock & Lock bowl, the salad keeps fresh to Saturday. How perfect is that? I'm not throwing out food and I'm not spending more time during the week to prepare another salad.
The joke is on my co-worker. I love this product and I'm glad to have it in my everyday tool kit.

Lead with Love...
Be patient —demonstrate self-control in difficult situations.Be kind —show encouragement and enthusiasm.
Be trusting —place confidence in those around you.
Be unselfish —think of yourself less.
Be truthful —define reality corporately and individually.
Be forgiving —release the grip of the grudge.
Be dedicated —stick to your values in all circumstances.
I found it this jotted down in my journal. I know that I found it on someone else's blog so I can't take credit for it. Although, I can't remember who's blog it's from. Either way, it's a good reminder for all of us who lead others. And even if you don't consider yourself a leader, you are a leader. Someone is watching you. Someone admires you from a close distance or from afar. Someone looks up to you. Someone trusts you. Someone comes to you for advice. You just don't realize that you're leading and they may not realize they are being lead.
