Be patient —demonstrate self-control in difficult situations.Be kind —show encouragement and enthusiasm.
Be trusting —place confidence in those around you.
Be unselfish —think of yourself less.
Be truthful —define reality corporately and individually.
Be forgiving —release the grip of the grudge.
Be dedicated —stick to your values in all circumstances.
I found it this jotted down in my journal. I know that I found it on someone else's blog so I can't take credit for it. Although, I can't remember who's blog it's from. Either way, it's a good reminder for all of us who lead others. And even if you don't consider yourself a leader, you are a leader. Someone is watching you. Someone admires you from a close distance or from afar. Someone looks up to you. Someone trusts you. Someone comes to you for advice. You just don't realize that you're leading and they may not realize they are being lead.
