The Hair Experiment

The scenario:
One pair of scissors.
Two innocent children left unsupervised while mommy showers.

Can you guess what happens next?

That's right. . . A self-inflicted hair cut.

The best part is that I didn't notice the hair cuts until an hour after they had happened. I was getting ready so we could go to the park. I rushed the kids out of the house. While at the park, Jonah sat down beside me on the park bench and I noticed the hair on his shirt. I turned his face towards me with my hand and saw the chucks of hair missing. He easily confessed his actions to the point he was proud of it. I called McKenna over and she had a long lock of hair missing on the left side of her face.

My mischievous devils. [see the mischievous smiles in the pictures]

When we arrived back home, I went to the living room where the hair experiment had taken place. There I found large amounts of hair pushed under the couch. After sweeping the hair out from under the couch, my living room looked like a hair salon floor.

The moral of the story: Hair grows back. Smiles & memories last forever. And mommy will have to be more careful when she decides she needs to shower.
