events of a day

• Early to rise at the voice of my son
• Hear the melody of rain outside my bedroom window
• Try to convince him to go back to bed 
• No success
• Snuggle on the couch with the kids while we watch PBS cartoons
• Clean up the kitchen so I can make breakfast
• Make muffins & scrambled eggs
• No one wants to eat with me
• Enjoy my eggs & drink OJ
• Proceed to chill
• Finally motivate around 11am
• Drive to the bowling alley
• Bowl a majority of the frames because the kids lose interest
• Get six strikes
• Indulge my hunger with some delicious Mexican food
• The waiter is very attentive to the fact that it's Mother's Day :)
• Return home
• Nap with my snugly daughter while it continues to rain 
• Wake up to a smiling little girl in my face
• Arts & Crafts in the playroom
• Face painting - butterflies & Easter eggs
• Calls to the other moms in my life
• Nail painting
• Make dinner for the family
• Ice cream for dessert
• Puddle splashing since the rain has stopped
• Giggles
• Bedtime stories
• Goodnight kisses 
• Enjoy some DVDr'ed shows with the hubby
• Turn in for the night
• Start over tomorrow
