The finish line is almost here. Unfortunately, I have caught some kind of "funk" that has left me coughing and congested and feeling miserable all weekend. This passed Saturday, I hardly moved from the bed or the couch. Amazing how a little virus will wipe you off your feet.
Baby Girl is doing fine though. She kicks and moves a lot. She has definitely been harder to carry than Jonah was. It seems like I have a lot a little pregnancy related annoyances. The latest is excemza on my face - fabulous! And the water retention in my legs. Enough of the bad stuff - I'm can't wait to meet her. I daydream about who she is going to look like. I wonder what her personality is going to be like. I look forward to holding her in my arms for the first time and dressing her in all the pink outfits that I have received as gifts. I'm excited about the day that Baby Girl will be here and I can finally name her!
Big brother, Jonah, has grown up tremendously. He went from saying about 3 words to saying and repeating everything. It's so cute to hear him talk and he is finally realizing he can ask for what he wants. He is learning alot of Spanish word as well, thanks to his nanny, Beverly, who is from Costa Rica. He got his first "boo-boo" this weekend. Apparently, Daddy was chasing him around the pool and he fell on the concrete. He still is a very happy little boy. It's such a joy to be around he and snuggle with him. I'm taking in all the moments while I can.
